Responsible for patient care within an assigned department/unit and participates as a member of the health care team in cooperation with and under the direction of the Department Director or designee as defined by Standards and Scope of Practice for the Registered Nurse {ORS. 678.150/851-045-0030 through 851-045-0100 Nurse Practice Act 2008}.nbspMCMC believes that each employee makes a difference to our success. It is our expectation that each employee will offer his/her services wherever and whenever necessary to ensure the success of our collaborative efforts.The hospital-assigned Registered Nurse assesses analyzes plans implements and evaluates patient care following established patient care standards for MCMC including those for patient assessment and transfer.nbspEducation: Graduated from accredited school of nursing BSN preferred Oregon RN license required at hireBLS required at hireLicensure/Certification: Critical Care: nbspACLS required TNCC CCRN preferredCurrent applicable Oregon RN license required.Experience: Minimum two years Critical required Five years preferred. Additional clinical experience requirements may vary dependent upon the specific department in which the position is utilized.Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment and the ability to work unsupervised.nbspMust be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.nbspExperience with using every day technology tools e.g email Microsoft Office voicemail internet/intranet to access organize and store job-related information.
