Working as a registered nurse in a hospital is without a doubt one of the hardest jobs out there. The patience, professionalism and the knowledge that a RN possesses is truly invaluable to our society. I know whenever I had to go to the hospital, for myself or to visit a sick friend or family, it was always the RNs that made me feel cared for and comforted. I am truly thankful for their time spent studying in school and their dedication to their career.
As a Travel Nurse Recruiter, I get to work with some of the smartest and hardest working people across the country. Helping them grow in their careers and informing them about great new opportunities at some of the best universities, hospitals and medical facilities across the country is a truly gratifying. I LOVE what I do and being able to help a healthcare professional land a new job or helping them find their next travel adventure is so personally rewarding.
I grew up in the northeast, but I have lived in Florida, California and now I call New York City my home. Prior to being a travel nurse recruiter, I spent several years working in finance and business in New York City. My skills and success that I acquired in my past careers has enabled me to be a highly proficient recruiter. One of my key attributes that I have obtained is to be an effective listener, I make sure to ask the right questions and to listen, so I can fully understand what my RNs are really looking for. With this key skill I can help them quickly identify and quickly act to secure their perfect travel assignment.
During my spare time I enjoy exploring New York City and all the great things that it has to offer. I also enjoy running, playing frisbee in Central Park, traveling, and most importantly spending time with my friends, family and raising my daughter. Travel with Tact!
